Surveys can be up to 80 questions
in length. Answers can be:
Complete 100% logic allows for adding or deleting follow-up questions depending upon respondent's answers to previous question. Children and undesirable demographics can be "treed" to a completely separate survey so as not to compromise the integrity of the main survey. A "Go Back" feature may be placed on any questions to allow the respondent to correct a mistake on a previous question. Once they return to the previous question, the "Go Back" box disappears to prevent someone from completely re-starting a survey from the beginning. Optional "time ins" and "time outs" can automatically shut the SURVEYCENTER™ monitor off and on at preset times. Questions are timed to prevent "down time" if respondent does not complete the survey. When time expires, all answers given up to that time are saved and the survey resets itself. Screen colors can be selected from 28 preset combinations or unique combinations can be created from a 16-color palette. Each poll can be given a unique location code and name. A password can be assigned to prevent unauthorized access to the software menu. Number codes can be captured such as 5-digit ZIP codes, telephone numbers, social security numbers, patient numbers, room numbers, etc. Up to 10 digits may be entered. Gross results can be tabulated in seconds and viewed on the screen or printed out as a hard copy via the Report Generator. On multiple-response questions, a split screen shows response frequencies on the left and a ranked order on the right. You may select to view any (or all) questions. You may also set the date range (time interval) for the report. The TouchTab™ enhancement allows for crosstabulations including single, double, multi-stub and multi-banner formats. The Lead Generation feature captures personal respondent information (up to 8 user-defined fields such as name, address, phone number, etc.). SlideSHOW™ displays up to 20 screens at user-specified time intervals. Screens may be 256-color photographs, logos, graphic designs, clip art or text. Interactive menu-driven touchscreen programs can be created as wayfinder, merchandise locator, computer trivia game, information source, etc. Data are captured in a flat ASCII file compatible with most statistical software on the market (SPSS, SAS, Lotus, etc.). Data can be modem-transmitted to and from remote locations. Surveys can be multi-lingual. |
